Honeywell Intelligrated is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team based out of the West Chester OH office.
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements
Responsibilities
Creates relationships and uses resources within and outside organization to expedite the delivery of solutions
Participates in reviewing proposed solutions from other members of the Mods & Upgrades Engineering department
Participates in initial System Design Review
Contributes to system architecture, description of operation, functional specifications, and interface documents
Monitors and works from project task list and timelines; report progress on a regular basis
Assists Lead Engineer in the execution of drawings (layout, detail, load, hanger, air, approval, installation), required calculations, sales orders and other required project work
Participates in mechanical checkout and support installation as needed
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Must be willing to travel up to 20%
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
