This role is preferred to be in either San Francisco, Sunnyvale, New York, Chicago, Omaha, or Detroit depending which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing. The team would also be open to remote for the right candidate.

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Group Manager who can own and lead digital marketing for our online hiring products, including our Job Posts and Recruiter Lite product lines. You will develop and own execution of the digital marketing growth strategy, identifying levers to drive additional upside in the business, translating that strategy into action through your team and cross-functional partners, all while ensuring we hit our financial targets and deliver maximum value to our customers. You will manage a team responsible for creating effective marketing campaigns and designing A/B tests to acquire new customers as well as retain and reactivate existing customers, across paid media (both offline and online), email, and web channels. This role is highly cross-functional, and you and your team will partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, and other internal and agency teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, can articulate a clear and compelling big picture strategy but also dive deep into the details to optimize their programs, and has a track record as a strong people manager and cross-functional partner.


  • Own digital marketing strategy for the Online Hiring business, across acquisition and retention, identifying opportunities for upside and building business cases to sell in the strategy
  • Lead and manage a team, as well as partner cross-functionally with product marketing, product, and marketing operations, to develop and execute end-to-end campaigns
  • Provide input and direction on marketing measurement, along with Marketing Analytics and Data Science partners, translating data into actionable insights
  • Communicate as the face of the Online Hire marketing program with stakeholders and senior leadership


Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field experience
  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in setting and owning a roadmap, driving from strategy to execution
  • Experience across the customer journey, from acquisition to retention/upsell, across paid, email, and web channels
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Experience working with data to generate actionable insights and program improvements, driving active innovation, and coming up with A/B tests to drive performance
  • Proven ability to collaborate strongly, develop deep relationships with colleagues and influence functional teams to deliver on goals

  • 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $102,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
